Duties

• Assist in handling civil litigation cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in matters related to insurance defense, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and product liability.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and other alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies and client communications.
• Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines for court appearances and filings.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in civil litigation, with preference for insurance defense experience.
• Strong analytical and legal research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
