Mid-Level Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its civil litigation team in Parsippany, New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload in areas such as general liability, construction litigation, employment and labor, and workers' compensation. Duties

• Manage cases from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and attorneys on litigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in New Jersey state and federal courts.
• Strong advocacy and communication skills.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Ability to take and defend depositions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.
