Job Overview

A nationally respected law firm is seeking a mid-level Corporate Healthcare Associate Attorney to support its expanding Healthcare Industry practice. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with top-tier healthcare clients—ranging from large provider systems to health plans, digital health innovators, and private equity investors. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of transactional experience with a focus on mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and/or joint ventures in the healthcare sector.

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on healthcare-related mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity investments

  • Advise clients throughout the full corporate lifecycle—from formation to strategic growth

  • Draft, negotiate, and review transactional documents and commercial contracts

  • Support clients on operational, structural, and regulatory matters

  • Collaborate with partners and team members across offices

  • Participate in firm-led training, career development, and mentorship programs

  • Help develop and maintain client relationships

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of transactional experience (M&A, PE, JV), with healthcare industry exposure preferred

  • Strong client service skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and work in a team-based environment

  • Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of the office location

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Strong academic performance required

Certifications

  • Active law license in the relevant state of practice

Skills

  • Advanced legal research and analytical abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Transactional drafting and negotiation proficiency
