A law firm seeks an insurance defense litigation attorney in West Palm Beach, Florida. The successful candidate will oversee a varied caseload of first-party property claims, from drafting pleadings through trial preparation, and collaborate with a seasoned team to develop strategy and manage client relationships.

Duties

• Manage litigation matters involving property insurance claims from inception through resolution.

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, correspondence, and trial briefs.

• Conduct depositions, appear at hearings, and participate in mediations and trials.

• Develop a case strategy and maintain ongoing client communication.

• Coordinate with senior attorneys and support staff to advance cases efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of civil litigation experience, preferably in property insurance defense.

• Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload and meet firm deadlines.

• Strong analytical, research, and legal writing capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills in a collaborative setting.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
