Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview:
A leading law firm is currently seeking an experienced Litigation Of Counsel to support its national litigation team with a focus on complex products liability matters involving pharmaceutical and medical devices. This role requires exceptional legal writing skills, particularly relating to Daubert and Federal Rule of Evidence 702 motions. The position offers a hybrid work model and is available across several major U.S. legal markets.

Location:

• Boston, MA

Duties:

• Draft and review discovery responses, memoranda, motions, and legal briefs

• Communicate and coordinate with clients regarding litigation strategy and progress

• Oversee and mentor associates within the litigation team

• Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants

• Participate in fact development and take part in depositions

• Contribute to and help implement case strategies involving complex litigation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience

• Background in AmLaw 100 or similarly sophisticated legal environments preferred

• Demonstrated experience in Rule 702/Daubert motion practice

• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical and medical device product liability litigation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction

• Admission to the New York Bar is particularly encouraged
