Job Overview: A reputable law firm based in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Advisor to join its Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group, focusing on Electrical Engineering & Software. The role involves providing technical expertise and support in patent prosecution and litigation matters related to wireless communication technologies, particularly 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards.

Duties:

  • Provide technical expertise and analysis in support of patent prosecution and litigation cases.
  • Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and filing patent applications.
  • Evaluate technical aspects of patent claims and provide detailed analysis.
  • Conduct patent searches and prepare reports on patentability and infringement.
  • Support patent litigation efforts, including assisting with claim construction, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to guide patent strategies.
  • Stay current with technological advancements in electrical engineering and software, particularly in the field of wireless communications.

Requirements:

  • A B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Experience with wireless communication technologies, including 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards, is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
