Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team remotely from Augusta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of practice experience and will support the Litigation Team in Atlanta. This role offers hands-on experience in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception to trial, with direct client contact.

Duties

  • Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
  • Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
  • Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
  • Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
  • Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate or equivalent.
