Associate Attorney - Insurance Recovery

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an ambitious attorney with one to five years of experience to join its Insurance Recovery, Counseling & Litigation team in Clarence, New York. The practice is nationwide in scope, assisting policyholder clients in resolving complex insurance coverage disputes and maximizing insurance recoveries.

Duties

• Resolve complex insurance coverage disputes.
• Secure carrier participation in defense and settlement of claims.
• Advise on a full spectrum of insurance coverage issues.
• Conduct analytical work with provided training and guidance.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in insurance recovery or related fields.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience with insurance policies and coverage issues preferred.
• Experience in litigation and/or corporate transactional work is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar required.
