Duties

  • Assist with estate planning, including the drafting of wills, trusts, and related documents

  • Support post-death trust and estate administration

  • Work directly with partners and clients to implement estate plans

  • Conduct legal research and draft correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents

  • Manage client communications and maintain accurate case records

  • Participate in meetings, strategy sessions, and probate filings

  • Maintain compliance with legal deadlines and procedural requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning or post-death administration preferred

  • Demonstrated interest in trusts and estates law

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from senior attorneys

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing with the State Bar of California (required)
