Job Overview:

The Employment Litigation Attorney will handle employment-related disputes and represent clients in litigation matters. They will manage a caseload, from discovery to trial, and demonstrate strong negotiation skills in mediation and with defense counsel.

Duties:

• Represent clients in employment litigation matters.
• Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, law and motion, and depositions.
• Prepare for and conduct arbitrations and trials.
• Independently handle cases and provide legal advice to clients.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements in mediation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of employment litigation experience.
• Preference for candidates with arbitration and trial experience.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• Strong understanding of employment law and litigation procedures.
• Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle cases from start to finish.
• Excellent negotiating skills and ability to communicate effectively with defense counsel and clients.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professionalism.
• Strong academic credentials.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
