Associate Attorney needed for Beverly Hills office

Job Overview: A law firm based in Beverly Hills, CA, seeks an Associate Attorney focusing on family law litigation. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a law office or firm, with at least 1 year of experience in family law practice. The Associate Attorney will collect, organize, and maintain evidence for various aspects of family law litigation, draft legal pleadings and forms, appear at trial and contested hearings, interact with clients and opposing counsel, and oversee law clerks.

Duties:

• Collect, maintain, and organize evidence for all aspects of family law litigation (e.g., trials, motions, mediations).
• Draft legal pleadings and forms, including complaints, declarations, discovery requests, responses, and memorandums.
• Prepare for and appear at trial and contested hearings (when ready, depending on experience).
• Regularly interact with opposing counsel and clients.
• Oversee and work with law clerks assisting with various cases.

Requirements:

• Proof of CA Bar passage and graduation from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 1-3 years of experience in a law office, firm, or solo practice.
• 1 year of experience practicing family law.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact with potentially emotional individual clients.
• The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
