Entry-level Collections Associate Attorney

A law firm in Plymouth is seeking an Entry-level Collections Associate Attorney to focus on consumer collection litigation. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Minnesota, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Duties:

• Focus on consumer collection litigation practice.
• Handle a caseload of collection matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Attend court hearings and proceedings.
• Assist senior attorneys in case management and strategy development.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve case objectives.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
