Family Law Attorney

A law firm in West Hollywood, CA, is currently seeking a Family Law Attorney to join their team. The Family Law Attorney will be responsible for carefully crafting court filings and supporting documents, conducting expert legal research, following up on correspondence, and vigorously representing clients in court. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice law in California, and preferably be a Certified Family Law Specialist.

Duties:

• Draft family law pleadings, initial filings, Requests for Orders, ex parte paperwork, discovery, client declarations, stipulations, and temporary restraining orders.
• Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, case law, opinions, and briefs relevant to family law cases.
• Follow up on correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and experts in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent clients and advocate for their interests in court proceedings.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the family law process.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
• California State Bar License.
• Certification as a Family Law Specialist preferred.
