Job Overview:
A full-service law firm is seeking a Business Law/Real Estate Associate Attorney with at least four years of relevant experience to join its growing practice in New Hampshire. The position is designed for a motivated and collaborative professional who enjoys working across a range of transactional matters and is ready to take on leadership responsibilities within the practice. This opportunity allows for direct client interaction, cross-practice collaboration, and flexibility to develop a tailored area of legal expertise.

Location:

  • Peterborough, NH

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on a broad spectrum of transactional matters

  • Handle general corporate representation, including entity formation and governance

  • Lead or assist with mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and due diligence

  • Support clients in real estate transactions, including sales, leasing, and financing

  • Advise on commercial lending and represent municipal clients as needed

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements

  • Engage in business development and client relationship management

  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to provide comprehensive service

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business, real estate, or transactional law

  • Strong foundation in corporate law, M&A, commercial transactions, and/or municipal representation

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage matters and meet deadlines

  • Commitment to professional development and client-focused service

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Hampshire State Bar (or ability to obtain promptly)

Skills:

  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
