Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation, Arbitration, and Employment Attorney to join their Investigations, White Collar, and Fraud group in New York. This role offers experienced attorneys the opportunity to focus on substantive legal work without the demands of generating business or pursuing partnership.

Duties

  • Oversee and participate in document review projects, including e-discovery and privilege reviews.
  • Assist with managing case files and coordinating with clients, witnesses, and experts.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Prepare, review, and revise legal documents such as memoranda, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Draft client correspondence and assist with responding to client inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, firm policies, and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and good standing in the state of practice.
  • 1-3+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a large law firm environment.
  • Expertise in Relativity and knowledge of legal technology applications.
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the state bar.

Skills

  • Strong research, writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
