Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of complex litigation cases, focusing on construction litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and writing, including drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with written discovery, electronic discovery, depositions, expert discovery, and mediation.
  • Prepare for and participate in trials, hearings, and other court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with partners and other team members to develop case strategies and tactics.
  • Manage client relationships and provide ongoing communication and updates on case progress.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in litigation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado.
  • 3-6 years of experience in complex litigation, preferably with a focus on construction litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with various litigation processes, including discovery and trial preparation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certification in Construction Law (e.g., Certification by the American Bar Association) is a plus.
