Duties:

  • Collaborate with lead attorneys on case evaluation, reporting, discovery, depositions, and trial presentation
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
  • Manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines and client needs

Requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in defense litigation
  • Admission to the Texas State Bar
  • Experience working with transportation, catastrophic injury, commercial disputes, construction, medical malpractice, and/or healthcare matters preferred
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
