Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Labor and Employment Law Attorney to join their team as an Attorney Coach and Trainer in Saint Louis, MO. This non-billable role involves creating and delivering training programs through various methods, including online platforms and in-person sessions. The candidate will provide one-on-one coaching and collaborate with the Learning and Professional Development Team to address training needs.

Duties

  • Create and deliver training programs using online and in-person methods.
  • Conduct coaching sessions and develop templates for attorneys.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and hold regular office hours.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Professional Development Team to identify training needs.
  • Travel for in-person training sessions and conferences.
  • Assist with firmwide rollouts of legal software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to create and deliver training programs.
  • Experience in coaching legal practice skills.
  • Creative, personable, and service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and online training platforms.

Education

  • J.D. required. Licensed to practice law in the US; Illinois preferred.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the US.

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of labor and employment law.
  • Experience with Class Action cases.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and instructional design software.
