Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A progressive and client-centered family law firm in Austin, Texas is seeking an Experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team. This role is ideal for a motivated legal professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in litigation and/or family law. The attorney will be responsible for managing a variety of family law cases, representing clients in court, drafting legal documents, and maintaining client relationships. Location:

• Austin, Texas

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and case analysis

• Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and trial briefs

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations

• Handle new client intakes and conduct initial consultations via phone or in person

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Assist in developing case strategy and trial preparation

• Manage and maintain client billing accounts and assist in fee collection

• Collaborate with legal staff to support ongoing casework

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation and/or family law

• Proven courtroom and client advocacy experience

• Ability to manage multiple cases independently and efficiently

• Experience with client billing and fee collection processes

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Texas

• In good standing with the Texas Bar
