A well-respected, multi-state law firm is seeking a seasoned Employment Litigation Associate to join its growing team. Location

  • Philadelphia, PA

Duties

  • Represent employers in all phases of employment litigation, including federal and state court proceedings

  • Manage cases from inception through trial or settlement, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances

  • Provide strategic legal advice and risk assessment to clients regarding employment law issues

  • Draft legal documents, including motions, memoranda, and briefs

  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop legal strategies that meet business goals

  • Participate in internal firm initiatives focused on diversity, mentorship, and client development

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing employment litigation on behalf of employers

  • Demonstrated success managing cases in both state and federal courts

  • Ability to handle a full litigation caseload with minimal supervision

  • Proven experience in legal writing, courtroom procedures, and litigation strategy

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active bar license in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, or Florida (at least one required)

  • Must be in good standing with applicable state bar(s)

Skills

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
