A law firm in Denver, CO, seeks an experienced Litigation Partner to lead its litigation practice group. The successful candidate will have extensive experience handling complex litigation matters and will be key in managing client relationships, overseeing litigation strategies, and providing expert legal counsel.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage the litigation practice group, providing strategic direction and oversight.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on litigation matters.
  • Handle a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters, including commercial disputes, civil litigation, and appellate litigation.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff within the litigation practice group.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing litigation law, preferably within a reputable law firm.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex litigation matters and client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in mentoring junior attorneys.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of litigation law principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
