Duties

• Strategize, prepare for, and attend trial proceedings, mediation, and arbitration.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings.
• Stay updated on applicable laws and statutes at local, state, and federal levels.
• Prepare necessary legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Assist with the discovery process, including depositions and document production.
• Negotiate client-focused resolutions and settlements.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties regarding pending matters.
• Conduct strategy sessions with clients and represent them in all phases of litigation.

Requirements

• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong persuasive writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple files.
• Experience in trial, mediation, and arbitration representation.
• Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations.
• Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.
