Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is actively seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Business Practice Group in New Hampshire. This position is ideal for a motivated legal professional with a minimum of four years’ experience in transactional law who is eager to take on leadership responsibilities while contributing to a collaborative and dynamic legal team. The role offers the opportunity to engage in a diverse practice serving corporate, municipal, and real estate clients, with flexibility to develop a niche practice area of interest.

Location:

  • Manchester, NH

Duties:

  • Represent clients in a variety of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and commercial contracts

  • Provide counsel in general corporate law and entity formation matters

  • Handle real estate transactions, including financing, leasing, and sales

  • Advise municipal clients on legal and regulatory matters

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements

  • Collaborate with partners and associates across practice groups

  • Build and develop client relationships while pursuing growth in focused practice areas

  • Contribute to the firm’s culture of teamwork and intellectual openness

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing in a business, transactional, or real estate law capacity

  • Strong background in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and/or municipal law

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal matters and client expectations

  • Willingness to contribute to firm initiatives and internal leadership

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Hampshire State Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)

Skills:

  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal communication and client-service orientation
