Workers' Compensation Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established national law firm is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta office. This full-time role is ideal for attorneys with at least 2 years of relevant experience who are ready to manage their own caseload, handle discovery, and actively participate in litigation proceedings. Location:

• Atlanta, GA

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation cases independently

• Conduct depositions and witness interviews

• Draft and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and motions

• Represent clients in administrative hearings, mediations, and court proceedings

• Maintain ongoing client communication and case updates

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and trial preparation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers’ compensation law (defense experience preferred)

• Proven ability to independently handle a litigation caseload

• Experience managing discovery processes, including depositions and motion practice

• Trial or hearing experience is advantageous

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member of the Georgia Bar in good standing
