Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Trial Attorney in Mobile, Alabama. The successful candidate will manage a high-volume caseload, engage with clients, conduct key litigation activities, and advocate in trials. This role requires a proactive approach to client communication and a commitment to securing favorable outcomes.

Duties

  • Manage approximately 150 cases, with around 50 in active litigation monthly.
  • Maintain proactive and transparent communication with clients.
  • Conduct depositions, draft and respond to motions, and lead mediations.
  • Serve as lead counsel in jury trials.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years practicing personal injury or civil litigation; 5-8 years preferred.
  • Active and in good standing with the local State Bar; multiple state bar admissions preferred.
  • Extensive jury trial experience with at least 5+ first chair trial verdicts; 10+ preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Alabama.

Skills

  • Strong legal acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
  • Proficient in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
