Job Overview:
A growing estate and business planning law firm based in Monument, Colorado, is seeking one to two Associate Attorneys to join its collaborative legal team. This position offers a unique opportunity for attorneys with a passion for client service and estate law to work in a supportive, organized environment. Location:

  • Monument, Colorado

Duties:

  • Conduct client meetings to discuss estate and business planning needs

  • Draft legal documents, including Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives

  • Advise clients on estate, gift, GST, and income tax issues

  • Communicate clearly and effectively regarding legal strategies, documents, and fees

  • Engage new clients and manage ongoing client relationships

  • Meet annual revenue and performance goals based on experience and tenure

  • Participate in firm marketing activities including public speaking, educational seminars, and writing articles or blogs

  • Attend CLE courses to maintain competence and legal credentials

  • Collaborate with the team to support client needs and legal processes

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in estate planning preferred

  • Proven experience advising clients, drafting planning documents, and conducting client meetings

  • Ability to travel up to 10% for client-related or firm-related engagements

  • Strong commitment to professionalism, client service, and team collaboration

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Colorado OR

  • In the process of obtaining Colorado licensure or reciprocity

Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset
