Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Attorney focusing on business and commercial litigation. Duties:

• Handle a wide range of business and commercial litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case strategy and management.
• Conducted client interviews and maintained regular communication regarding case progress.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar.
• 8-12 years of experience practicing law, focusing on business and commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and evidence rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Franchise litigation experience is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida State Bar.
