A law firm seeks a Construction and Design Associate with two to five years of transactional and contract experience involving construction projects to join their team in Denver, CO. The role involves drafting and negotiating various contracts related to industrial, energy, renewable, residential, and commercial projects.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate EPC/BOP contracts, cost-plus contracts, and fixed-price contracts.
  • Handle CM agreements and professional services agreements.
  • Manage subcontractor and supply agreements.
  • Address disputes on construction projects across various sectors.

Requirements

  • Two to five years of relevant transactional/contract experience.
  • Colorado bar admission or eligibility to become admitted.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent writing skills.

  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
