Job Details:

Duties:

  • Maintain positive contact with clients and observe confidentiality of client matters.
  • Provide initial analysis and develop a case strategy.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
  • Take and defend depositions, draft motions, and attend hearings.
  • Explain legal options to clients, highlighting potential outcomes or threats.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with clients.
  • Conduct negotiations and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Handle Professional Liability matters with expertise.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • In good standing and able to practice law in the state of FL.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling disputes involving E&O, D&O, LPL, and miscellaneous professional liability matters.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a solid academic background.
  • Sense of urgency about problem-solving, meeting deadlines, and achieving goals.
  • Knowledgeable, attentive, and proactive.
  • Excellent communicator, negotiator, public speaker, and problem solver.

Skills:

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
