Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to update clients, communicate with insurance companies, evaluate claims, and prepare and try cases as needed. The ideal candidate should have significant trial experience, superb negotiation skills, and membership in the Illinois Bar in good standing.

Duties:

• Update clients on the status of their claims and communicate with insurance companies.
• Prepare personal injury cases for trial and serve as first chair if needed.
• Utilize superb negotiation skills to advocate for clients' interests.
• Evaluate claims to determine their merit and potential outcomes.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of litigation experience.
• Membership in the Illinois Bar in good standing.
• Significant trial experience, preferably 7-10 personal injury trials as first chair.
• Experience in evaluating claims.
• Superb negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Membership in the Illinois Bar in good standing.
