Job Overview

A law firm seeks a lateral associate with 4-6 years of experience to join their projects and infrastructure team in New York. The successful candidate will engage in complex negotiations and provide legal expertise in the public-private partnership (PPP) sector.

Duties

  • Negotiate concession, long-term lease, and comprehensive agreements in the PPP space.
  • Draft and negotiate design, construction, interface, operations, and maintenance agreements.
  • Handle secured financings, including credit, pledge, and security agreements.
  • Negotiate collateral agency agreements and bond-related documents.
  • Draft and review bond purchase agreements and disclosure documents.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience with secured financings and bond negotiations.
  • Familiarity with PPP agreements and related legal documents.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
