Duties:

• Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from start to finish

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Prepare and argue motions in court

• Manage client communications and negotiations

• Coordinate and strategize with colleagues and staff on case developments

• Participate in case evaluations, settlement discussions, and trial preparation

• Monitor deadlines and court dates for assigned matters

• Utilize internal systems for timekeeping and case tracking

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on litigation experience

• Strong command of California civil procedure

• Demonstrated ability to handle cases independently with minimal supervision

• Proven effectiveness in client interaction and courtroom appearances

• Enthusiastic about working in a team-oriented environment that values initiative

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and good standing membership with the State Bar of California

Skills:
