Structured Finance Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Structured Finance Associate to join their New York office. This position offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of securitization, CLO, and derivatives matters, working with a diverse range of clients and transaction structures.

Duties

• Advise issuer, underwriter, and investor clients on securitization matters across various asset classes.
• Provide counsel to asset-manager clients on U.S. and European CLO transactions.
• Collaborate on transactions related to private equity, M&A, and restructuring practices.
• Advise buy-side clients and private funds on complex derivatives transactions and regulatory issues.

Requirements

• Experience in structured finance, securitization, or derivatives.
• Class years 2021-2024 preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills

• Proficiency in advising on complex financial transactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple offices.
