Job Overview:
A prominent law firm located in Houston, TX, is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Litigation Associate to support its complex product liability matters, particularly in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of three years of litigation experience with a strong command of legal writing, including Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice. This hybrid role allows for both in-office and remote work flexibility, offering the opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals and industry experts.

Duties:

  • Communicate directly with clients on case progress and legal strategy

  • Oversee junior attorneys and contribute to team leadership

  • Engage with expert witnesses for case development

  • Participate in fact investigation and conduct depositions

  • Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, motions, memoranda, and discovery responses

  • Contribute to overall case planning and litigation strategy

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at a top-tier law firm

  • Demonstrated experience in Daubert and Rule 702 briefing

  • Background in handling pharmaceutical or medical device litigation preferred

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas (additional admission in New York a plus)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Strong academic performance from nationally recognized institutions

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Texas

Skills:
