The Intake Attorney will bridge potential clients and legal teams, exercising sharp legal judgment from the first call.

Duties

  • Conduct initial client consultations and intake calls, assessing legal merits and case viability.
  • Provide legal insight to determine case alignment with the firm's expertise.
  • Guide potential clients through the intake process with professionalism and compassion.
  • Draft and review initial retainer agreements and ensure proper client sign-ups.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of case details and intake notes.
  • Collaborate with Intake Specialists to maximize conversion rates and ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Address client concerns with professionalism, establishing trust in legal representation.
  • Partner with management to identify patterns in leads and suggest strategies for improvement.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in California.
  • 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law, preferably in client intake or pre-litigation.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (verbal & written).
  • Strong analytical skills to assess case strengths and potential value.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with case management software (Filevine, Lead Docket preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in California
