A law firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Personal Injury Associate Attorney to handle a wide range of responsibilities related to personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury law or related fields, possess strong courtroom skills, and hold a Florida Bar license.

 

Duties:

  • Handle cases from inception and negotiate pre-suit settlements
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations
  • Conduct and take depositions
  • Establish rapport with clients and prepare them for all phases of the case
  • Review medical records for case evaluation
  • Respond to discovery requests
  • Review closing statements for accuracy
  • Take cases to trial when necessary
  • Network with attorneys, medical professionals, and clients

 

Requirements:

  • Florida Bar license is mandatory
  • 2-6 years of experience in plaintiff’s personal injury law, insurance company, or State Attorney's office
  • Comfortable in the courtroom environment
  • Fluency in a second language is a significant advantage

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar
