Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Health Counsel or Senior Counsel with 6-10+ years of expertise in False Claims Act (FCA) investigations and litigation to join its Washington, DC office. The position requires significant experience with health care fraud and abuse laws.

Duties

  • Conduct and manage FCA investigations and litigation.
  • Advise clients on health care fraud and abuse laws.
  • Collaborate with legal teams on complex cases.
  • Represent clients in court and administrative proceedings.

Requirements

  • 6-10+ years of experience in FCA investigations and litigation.
  • Experience with health care fraud and abuse laws.
  • Background in the Department of Justice Civil Fraud Division or a United States Attorney's Office preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in good standing.
