Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Health Care Litigation Associate with over three years of experience to join their team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex litigation, particularly in health care-related matters, and will be adept at managing investigations and enforcement actions.

Duties

  • Conduct and support False Claims Act investigations, including internal healthcare fraud inquiries.
  • Manage discovery processes and draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
  • Research and analyze healthcare enforcement trends and compliance regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve client objectives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of complex litigation experience, preferably involving government enforcement or white-collar matters.
  • Experience with FCA-related litigation is preferred.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize competing responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted or eligible for admission in MA, NY, or DC.

Skills

  • Professionalism in engaging with demanding clients.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.
