A law firm in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an Associate Attorney to collaborate with the legal team, ensuring the highest standard of legal services are provided to each client. The candidate will also provide direction and supervision to non-attorney staff in adherence to all laws and regulations. Responsibilities include managing personal injury caseloads, interacting and negotiating with insurance companies, maintaining positive client relationships, drafting legal documents, ensuring document accuracy, and compliance with legal standards and regulations.

 

Duties:

  • Collaborate with the legal team to share knowledge and expertise.
  • Provide direction and supervision to non-attorney staff in the Oklahoma City office.
  • Manage personal injury caseloads through the pre-litigation claim process.
  • Interact and negotiate with insurance companies.
  • Communicate and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents as required.
  • Ensure accuracy of all documents prepared.
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of civil practice experience.
  • Active Bar license in Oklahoma.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active Bar license in Oklahoma.

 

Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, etc. and tech-savvy.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal relations.
