The Beginning ? Russell Nicolet Opens A Law Office

The Nicolet Law story starts in 2007 when Russell Nicolet hung his own shingle in a small, one-room office in Hudson, Wisconsin. From the start, the firm has been committed to helping individuals and families navigate through difficult legal issues related to their health, their finances, and their overall wellbeing.

Before he became a lawyer, Russell worked as an intern for the public defender's office, as a law clerk for a Minnesota judge, and a law clerk for a local attorney. As a young lawyer, Russell would spend hours doing legal research at the Washington County Law Library to give his clients any possible advantage, along with saving them the cost of paying for high priced legal research programs. These experiences built his knowledge and gave him a unique view of all aspects of what clients may have to deal with a wide range of difficult legal issues.

When he founded Nicolet Law Office, S.C., Russell combined this legal knowledge with a strong work ethic and an emphasis on serving the community. His focus on making sure that those in the community receive the help they need when facing some of life's toughest situations meant that Russell often took on difficult cases that other attorneys may have passed on. Russell worked relentlessly to build Nicolet Law Office, S.C., so that his clients would have access to a law firm that delivers high-quality results with a client-first approach.

Over the next decade, Nicolet Law Office, S.C., continued to be a trusted resource for clients in the Hudson area. Along the way, we added offices in Eau Claire, Superior and many other cities throughout Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota. Our existing offices expanded as we brought on more attorneys to serve our growing client base and continued to work hard to ensure those with legal needs got the representation they deserved. Our practice areas expanded along with our offices, growing from a primary focus on bankruptcy law to include personal injury cases, workers' compensation and Social Security Disability (SSDI) law.
