The predecesser law firm to Golub Law, PLLC, Golub & Golub Law, LLP, was established in 1996. The firm's objective is to provide prompt, innovative, pragmatic, and cost-effective service to clients involved in secondary loan trading, distressed and "special situation" investing, claims trading, derivative transactions, bankruptcy proceedings, commercial litigation, out-of-court restructurings, and related transactions. The firm achieves this by relying upon the hands-on efforts of experienced practitioners with diverse expertise in many aspects of the law that arise in connection with the firm's core practice areas.

The firm's clients are drawn from numerous industries and include hedge funds, CLOs, private equity firms, other investment funds, investment banks and other broker/dealers, commercial banks, asset-based lenders, creditors' committees, and a variety of other clients, such as manufacturers, trading companies, professional firms, real estate companies, service businesses, construction companies, and retailers.

We have an active practice advising and representing clients in the negotiation, documentation, and settlement of domestic and foreign distressed, par and near par bank debt transactions, trade claims transactions, and other investments. The firm is a member of the LSTA and sits on the Forms and Trade Practices Committee. We also frequently represent secured lenders in private lending transactions, loan workouts, and enforcement actions.
