Reviews answers and prepares discovery and dispositive motions. Manages all aspects of preparing for and conducting of trials. Attends court hearings throughout the state of Texas. Provide analysis and advises on legal and regulatory risks. Represents clients in pre-suit and post-judgement matters. Dallas office of our client seeks bankruptcy attorney with preferably 1+ year of experience representing secured creditors/mortgage services. The candidate will handle and maintain caseload of bankruptcy and/or litigation matters on behalf of banks and mortgage services. Will collaborate with attorneys and support staff regarding procedures utilized in the firm's bankruptcy practice, including steps in the process, documents, local filing requirements and judicial tendencies. Provide loan level recommendations as well as ensuring the associated policies and procedures are in compliance with the Federal Bankruptcy Code, local rules, case law.
