Duties

  • Represent debtors, creditors, lenders, committees, or investors in Chapter 11 and related matters.

  • Assist with out-of-court restructurings, workouts, and distressed M&A transactions.

  • Handle DIP financing, §363 sales, cash collateral issues, and plan negotiations.

  • Draft motions, prepare filings, and participate in hearings and adversary proceedings.

  • Analyze financial statements, restructuring plans, and creditor recovery scenarios.

  • Support litigation related to bankruptcy disputes, claims, and avoidance actions.

Requirements

  • 1–10+ years of bankruptcy or restructuring experience.

  • Familiarity with Chapter 11, §363 transactions, and bankruptcy litigation.

  • Strong financial literacy and ability to analyze restructuring scenarios.

  • Judicial clerkship experience, especially in bankruptcy, is highly valued.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Strong legal research, writing, and motion practice skills.

  • Ability to handle complex financial and litigation issues simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing active dockets.

  • Collaborative approach with strong analytical judgment.
