[00:00:00] Received a return offer to my New York big law firm with a response deadline by October 1st--
first of all, I don't think that a lot of people, if it's a big law firm that the partners and others that you're going to be working with, really care but if you have an October deadline, you should have responded by then. If you sit down it for a few weeks, you're just sending a message that maybe you want something else and that's something that people would remember in the future. I would accept right away if it was me. Unless, there's a reason you wouldn't want to work in that firm.
