Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Closing Attorney in North Charleston, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will join a well-established team, focusing on residential and commercial real estate transactions. Membership in the South Carolina Bar is required, with a preference for candidates experienced in closing real estate transactions.

Duties

  • Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances.
  • Review title documents.
  • Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate transactions.
  • Draft and review loan documents, contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase agreements.
  • Provide a professional and engaging client experience, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Review disbursement ledgers and sign checks.
  • Develop and grow business relationships for the firm.
  • Conduct training for potential clients in real estate law.

Requirements

  • Residential real estate experience preferred; training available for the right candidate.
  • Member of the South Carolina State Bar in good standing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
