Duties

  • Assist in defending clients in personal injury and general liability cases

  • Conduct legal research to support case strategy and motion practice
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations as appropriate
  • Review and analyze medical records, incident reports, and discovery materials
  • Communicate with insureds, carriers, experts, and opposing counsel
  • Support senior attorneys with trial preparation and case development

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in personal injury defense or civil litigation
  • Familiarity with litigation procedures, discovery rules, and courtroom practice
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Effective communication and client-interaction skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active state bar license in good standing
