Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Associate with over four years of experience for its International Law, Trade, and Transactions unit in Washington, D.C. The role involves drafting administrative and appeal briefs, preparing questionnaire responses, and participating in client verifications related to antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings.

Duties

  • Draft administrative and appeal briefs and motions in AD/CVD proceedings.
  • Prepare questionnaire responses in AD/CVD cases.
  • Participate in client onsite verifications.
  • Prepare submissions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of AD/CVD regulations, statutes, and proceedings.
  • Experience in written legal argument at the Court of International Trade, Department of Commerce, or International Trade Commission.
  • Past experience as a law clerk with the CIT is strongly preferred.
  • Licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and eligible to waive into the D.C. bar without examination.

Education

  • Strong academic credentials required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
