Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced personal injury attorney in Norcross, GA, to join its growing practice. The candidate will manage a full caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in personal injury cases and demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a dynamic personality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability claims, from intake through resolution.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through referral networks and community outreach.
  • Conduct client interviews, case evaluations, legal research, and depositions.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement demands.
  • Negotiate settlements and attend mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, adjusters, medical providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely case progression.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of personal injury experience, preferably in a Georgia-based law firm.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Ability to handle a high caseload volume efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a client-focused, compassionate approach.
  • Admitted to practice law in the highest court in the state where barred (Georgia Bar admission preferred) and in good standing.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
