Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Family Law Attorney for a remote position based in Minneapolis, MN. This role offers an opportunity for an experienced attorney to bring legal expertise and leadership to a firm that values mentorship and collaboration.

Duties

  • Draft motions, affidavits, legal arguments, testimony, and trial briefs.
  • Prepare for hearings and strategize with clients.
  • Communicate with opposing parties, courts, and others.
  • Conduct case law research to apply relevant judicial decisions and statutes.
  • Investigate case facts and review new laws and regulations.
  • Craft substantive correspondence and edit paralegal documents.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Minnesota family law.
  • Admitted to the Minnesota Bar and in good standing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High emotional intelligence and open-mindedness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technologically savvy and proficient with calendars, email, and word processing.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
