Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join a plaintiff's personal injury practice. Duties:

• Assist with research, writing, and case preparation for a plaintiff’s personal injury practice.
• Attend and assist in client meetings, depositions, and mediations.
• Handle legal research, drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys to manage and resolve complex legal matters.
• Take on substantial responsibility and ownership over client cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Minnesota or eligible for admission to the Minnesota bar (based on MBE or UBE score from another jurisdiction).
• Candidates must be in good standing with the bar in any state where they are licensed to practice law.
• Experience in personal injury law is preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Minnesota bar or eligibility for admission based on MBE/UBE score.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
